This Mexican Christmas Apple Salad is present in many, if not all, Mexican households for Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
The reason behind it: it is toothsome. Sweet, creamy, crunchy and plays so well with pork and turkey (which is the traditional main dish in Mexico for the holidays. It is thanks in no small measure to all these qualities that this salad is both widely popular and traditional!
And guess what, the good news is that it is ready in a jiffy. Once you peel, core and cube the apples, our Mexican Christmas Apple Salad comes together in under 5 minutes.
Like I said before, it is great with any main dish and can even double as a dessert. Give it a try and celebrate the season with it!
