This Tomatillo Salsa Verde pairs perfectly with tacos, but also with pretty much everything under the sun (eggs, beans or simply tortilla chips; you name it).  The other good news is you can fix it in a jiffy. It’s ready to go in 5 minutes tops.

You know how cooking stuff changes its flavor, 90% of the time for good?Well this salsa, being uncooked, is the exception to that rule; it is refreshing and tangy, much more so than its cooked counterpart.

And this is the reason why this Tomatillo Salsa Verde is my fave, especially with these Homemade Tacos al Pastor or simply with refried beans! You can make it even better by adding cubed avocado.

Now, be aware that there’s a cooked version of Salsa Verde; it has earned a well-deserved place in Mexican cuisine and it is mostly used for Enchiladas, Chilaquiles or Salsa de Chicharrón. We will definitely devote a post to it in the future.
